What Is Hypnosis?

What is Hypnosis?

There is a general misunderstanding about hypnosis, how it works, and what it can do. Hypnosis is a way to naturally use your mind in a better way.

There are two parts to your mind:

1.  The part that thinks (the conscious mind)

2.  The part that listens (the subconscious mind).

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation - like a guided meditation - that quiets the thinking part of your mind while redirecting to the listening part of your mind.

In hypnosis, you become more of an observer, as I, the hypnotist, guide your subconscious to the results you desire.

After hypnosis, the thinking part of your mind and listening part are more connected and work together better towards your outcomes.

Will I give up control in hypnosis?

Media hype often portrays hypnosis as a loss of control, where you're not in control of your actions or thoughts while being in a relaxed, trance state.

Fortunately, nothing is further from the truth.

Rather, hypnosis is a way to help you take control of those behaviors, emotions, and thoughts that seemed just beyond your control before. So you can live a life doing more of what you want, and less of what you don't.

Can I be Hypnotized?

Yes, you certainly can!

If you've ever gotten lost in a movie, or book, you've experienced a light state of hypnosis.

Hypnosis isn't something that is done to you, rather, it's something that we do together.

As a professional hypnotist, my role is to guide you through hypnosis to create the changes you're looking for in your life as quickly and easily as possible.
